Donegal plays host to the final two rounds of the Connaught Competitions Engines Hillclimb and Sprint championship on the weekend of September 1st and 2nd. With Sylvie Mullins and Simon McKinley going head to head for overall honours, it looks like it will be a fight to the final run on Sunday to decide this year’s championship winner. Class honours in a number of classes are also still up for grabs. Donegal is gearing up to be a superb weekend in the hills.
Tickets for the championship awards night will be on sale in the paddock in Donegal from Helen O Grady (Championship Registrar). You can also contact Helen for tickets on 087 9194886 between 7pm and 9pm only please (due to work commitments). Tickets are €40. The awards night will take place on the 20th of October in the Killeshin Hotel on the Old Dublin Road in Portloaise. Special rates on rooms are available for those who are attending.
